Carroll Josephine Tomlinson, 72, passed away Friday, May 6 at her home in Collinsville, OK. Carroll was born on January 26, 1939 in Bartlesville, OK, daughter of Earl and Aldean (Archamco) Smith. Carroll married William Andrew Tomlinson on July 11, 1960 in Nowata, Oklahoma. They had two children together, Belinda Risley and William Andrew Tomlinson, Jr. She had many hobbies she loved to do including country dancing and fishing. Her family will always remember her playing Yahtzee, watching car racing and going to the casinos. She will be missed greatly by her family and friends. Carroll was preceded in death by her parents, husband, her son William Andrew Tomlinson, Jr., and a son in law, Clifford Dewayne Risley. Survivors include a daughter, Belinda Risley; three grandchildren, Aandy Risley, Joshua Risley, and Kandys Soto Risley, twelve great grandchildren, and three siblings, Curtis Smith, Judith Ostrander, and Toni Smith. Graveside services for Mrs. Tomlinson will be held on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Nowata Memorial Park Cemetery with Ben Killion officiating. Services are under the direction of Benjamin Funeral Service. Online condolences can be left at www.honoringmemories.com.
