Cecil Ray Evans Obituary Grove, OK - Cecil Ray Evans, 86, died early Friday morning, January 5, 2007 at Grand Lake Villa Care Center in Grove. Cecil was born April 18, 1920 at Star City, Arkansas to Everett Evans and Frances "Fancy" (Grimmett) Evans. During the course of his life, Cecil had worked as an oiler, a truck driver and was instrumental in the construction of many of the infrastructures of Bella Vista, Arkansas. He married Wanda Hogue on March 13, 1965 at Coeur d Alene, Idaho and the couple moved to the Grove area nine years ago from Bentonville, Arkansas. Cecil was a member of Grand Lake Baptist Church in Grove loved to work on all kinds of machinery - especially cars and mowers. His hobbies included fishing and piloting his 1948 Luspin single-engine plane. Survivors are his wife of 41 years, Wanda, of the home; two daughters, Peggy Donahue of Seattle, Washington and Judy Watkins of Hillsboro, Oregon; four step-sons, Ervin Gaffield of Portland, Oregon, Terry Gaffield of Fairview, Montana, Richard Gaffield of Gillette, Wyoming and Timothy Gaffield of Helen, Montana; one sister, Flora Dull of Missoula, Montana; 14 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. Cecil was preceded in death by his parents; by a daughter, Kathy and by one brother, Roy. Memorial services for Cecil Evans will be announced at a later date. Donations may be made in his honor to the Grand Lake Baptist Church or National Kidney Foundation, and donations may be left at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home.
