Charles Edward Perry, 69, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2016 at his home in Nowata. He was born January 17, 1947 in Wichita, Kansas to Alvin Ed and Evelyn Lenora (Everett) Perry. Charles attended Coffeyville Schools. He was an electrician and was a bronc rider on the rodeo circuit. He enjoyed working on cars, stock car racing and demolition derby's. Charles also liked to fish but most of all loved being with and playing with his grandchildren. On November 25, 1980 he married Lora Mullins in Independence, Kansas. Charles will be missed by all who knew him. Charles is survived by his wife Lora, of the home; four children, Wayne Edward Perry of Nowata, Preston Lee Perry of Nowata, Robbin Lynn Perry of Nowata, Jenna Irene Prado of California; two siblings, Robert Raymond Perry of Caney, KS., Patricia Perry of Nowata; 14 grandchildren including the ones he raised, Chyanne Athea Pearson Perry, Allie Pearson, Angel Pearson, Esperanza Prado, Ashley Houser; a niece, Cheryl "Bear" Wilson, and two great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Evelyn Perry; brother, Richard Lee Perry, and a great granddaughter, Hope Marie McKee.
