Charles "Pee Wee" Petty, Sr. Obituary Grove, Ok. - Charles "Pee Wee" Petty, Sr., 83, died Thursday, November 13, 2008 at his home. He was born on January 18, 1925 to Clarence and Eura (Howard) Petty in Dennis, Oklahoma. Pee Wee was married to Anita Delores Scuggins. He was a member of Hickory Grove Church and enjoyed playing dominoes and fishing. Survivors include his wife, Anita; one son, Charles R. Petty, Jr. and his wife, Terry; ten grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; his best friend Marvin Philipot and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two daughters, Phyllis Kirby and Linda Petty, his brother Melvin Petty, his sisters, Gladys Baker, Ruth Reno, Fern Petty and Geneva Crews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 17, 2008 at Hickory Grove Church with Rev. Jim Hale officiating. Burial will follow at Butler Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
