Charles Reynolds

Charles Edward Reynolds, 70 year old longtime Vinita resident, went to be with the Lord January 12, 2014. He was born at home on January 13, 1943 to William and Ruby Reynolds in Afton, OK. He attended Afton and Vinita schools. He worked as a construction worker. Charles, better known as Uncle Chuck, enjoyed spending time with family. Although he had no children of his own, he never missed a chance to attend a birthday party, 4th of July cookout or an Easter celebration. He was a very special uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. Charles was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Bobby Reynolds, Devon Reynolds, and Clarence Reynolds, sister, Marvene McBee, and parents William "Bill" and Ruby Reynolds. Survivors include his sister, friend, and caregiver Patsy Faulconer of Vinita, sisters Maxine Carey of Oklahoma City and Sandy Baker of Afton, and one brother Joe Reynolds and wife Nancy of Ketchum, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be 2 p.m., Thursday, January 16, 2014 at the Fairland Cemetery with Pastor Skip McClain officiating. Services are under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home.
