Charles Smith

Charles Smith, 71, of Jay, Oklahoma died at 5:40 a.m., Saturday, January 3, 2009 at Freeman Hospital West in Joplin, Missouri. Charles was born February 19, 1937 in Wanaque, New Jersey to Albert and Julia (Wyble) Smith. Charles had worked in construction and for many years was a custodian for public schools, including Jefferson Central School in Jefferson, New York. He married Ada Cooper and she survives of the home in Jay. Charles was cremated and no services are planned. Arrangements are under the direction of Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home of Jay, Oklahoma.
