Chase Jeffries

Brendan "Chase" Jeffries Campbell, age 21 of Grove, Oklahoma was called to heaven on Wednesday, December 23, 2009 resulting from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Chase began his journey on January 23, 1988 in Miami, Oklahoma. He was a life long resident of the Grove area and employed by Sequoyah Enterprises in Grove. Chase enjoyed playing X Box, reading, going to #43 to swim and throw horseshoes, paintballing, and spending time with his family and friends. He very much enjoyed watching his sisters play softball and basketball, they made him very proud. Chase had plans to be married and attend NEO in January. His goal was to be a nurse-anesthetist. He is preceded in death by his grandmother ~ Brenda Stogsdill, his "Gran" Violet Johnson, grandfather ~ Rex Johnson, uncle Herroll Odell Stogsdill, one niece Braxton York, and family dog "Snap". Chase is survived by his loving parents, Tommy D. and Windy Gail (Stogsdill) Jeffries of Grove; father Mardy Campbell of Fairland, Oklahoma; Chase's fiancé, Bridget Welch and their son, Jesse Cael Blayne Campbell "the boy"; one brother, Ty Jeffries and wife Diana; five sisters, Nikki York and husband Aston, Mason Jeffries, Tommi Jeffries, Bailey Jeffries, and Presli Jeffries all of Grove, Oklahoma; grandparents, Bob and Wilma Jeffries of Zena, Oklahoma; Jim and Vickie Moore of Miami, Oklahoma; and Wayne Campbell of Verdigris, Oklahoma: uncles, Kiley Stogsdill, Jesse Hanna, and Billy Moss. Aunts, Tiffany Williams, Linda Johnson, and especially dear to his heart "Aunt Suzie" Sue Moss. Chase also has many more uncles, aunts, cousins and friends that will dearly miss Chase and his wonderful smile. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 29, 2009 in the First Baptist Church in Grove, Oklahoma. Brother Derek Crawford will officiate along with special words from Aston York, Nolan and Bonnie Scarberry. Kiley Stogsdill, Jesse Hanna, Billy Moss, Ty Jeffries, Cody Simmons, Carl Strunk, Cory Moote, RJ Bartley, Jeremy Jackson, and Aston York will honor Chase's life by serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Issaiah Crawford, Jesse Hale, Isaac Crawford, Quinn Roach, Tyler Whitehill, Kaleb King, Jordan Karriman, Chris Carpenter, Adam Pollard, Ben Flynn, Chris Dubois, Braden Downs, and Darius Hopper. Interment will be in the Zena Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 28, 2009 in the Worley-Luginbuel Chapel in Grove, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The family will receive friends at this time.
