Cherlynn Ann Postrach, 74, of Ramona, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday evening, October 21, 2021, at Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville.
Cherlynn was born April 5, 1947, in San Francisco, California. Her parents were Berlyn Luttrell and Doris (Long) Luttrell. Cherlynn left California at age five and moved to Missouri, where she lived five more years and began her schooling. She moved to Dewey, Oklahoma and then to Bartlesville, attending her freshman year at Madison Junior High and later graduating from College High.
On October 18, 1963, Cherlynn married Danny K. Postrach at Caney, Kansas. The couple moved to Tulsa for a short time, where Cherlynn attended beauty college. The Postrachs moved to Bartlesville and then, in 1972, moved to Collinsville, Oklahoma, where she raised and loved her family. They moved to their current residence in Ramona, 23 years ago.
Cherlynn was an assembly worker for Kenco Engineering in Tulsa for 18 years. She was the consummate matriarch, who adored her husband, children, and grandchildren. When she was younger, Cherlynn loved riding horses and attending her kids’ rodeos. She also was an avid shopper.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Danny Postrach of the home; three children, Danna Cooper and husband, Shawn; Misty Postrach, all of Ramona and Matt Postrach and wife, Michaelyn of Chelsea, Oklahoma; one brother, Denny Luttrell and wife, Jackie of Eldon, Missouri; four grandchildren, Kasadee Vaughan and husband, Dillon of Ramona, Preslee Cooper of Vera, Oklahoma, Baelee Gulley and husband, Jason of Ramona and Taelor Postrach, also of Ramona, and four great-grandchildren, River and Creed Vaughan, Conrad Isam and Lilee Gulley. Cherlynn was preceded in death by her parents and by a sister, Mary Daughtery.
Funeral services will be held 2pm, Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at the Chapel of Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home with Pastor Jack Richey of Happy Hill Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Bartlesville’s White Rose Cemetery, under the direction of Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home. Visitation will take place Monday, October 25, 2021, 9 am – 7 pm, with the Postrach family receiving friends at the funeral home form 5-7pm.
