Cheryl Ann (Patrick) Guyaux The world lost a loving mom, wife and friend when Cheryl Ann (Patrick) Guyaux passed away suddenly on Monday, November 18th, 2013 at the age of 69. She was born on January 24, 1944 to Mary (Jordan) Patrick and Marion Patrick in Fairland, Oklahoma. A long-time employee of Grand River Dam Authority, Cheryl retired to life at Grand Lake with her husband and best friend, Gary Tom Guyaux, in 1998. She loved reading in the peacefulness of their secluded cove and never missed a chance to take in the beauty of nature and wildlife from the back deck with their beloved puppy dogs by her side. Cheryl is survived by her husband, her loving daughter Susan Eck of Tulsa, Susan's father Andy Eck of Blowing Rock, NC, sisters Linda (Patrick) Durdall of Washington, D.C. and Sue (Patrick) Wilkinson of Tulsa, a number of nieces and nephews, and two granddogs. In accordance with Cheryl's wishes, there will be no funeral service as she would like others to celebrate her life and all the love and joy she gave to those closest to her. In lieu of flowers, Cheryl's wish would be to donate to your favorite charity. Cheryl was especially supportive of animal rescue organizations and St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
