Christena' Sanders

Christena' Louise Sanders, 65 year old, Grove, Oklahoma area resident, passed away, Thursday, September 26, 2013. Christena' was born on September 12, 1948 in Garden Grove California, to Bill Glover and Andrea Faye (Hubbard) Hooter. She worked most of her life as a journeyman electrician. Christena' was an avid painter and enjoyed drawing as well as sewing. She loved reading and was a Stephen King and Dean Koontz fan. Christena' moved to the Grove area from California in 2005 and retired in 2007. Christena' was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, Sam Sanders. Christena, is survived by her children, James Ray Henderson and wife Paula, of Bentonville, Arkansas, Erica Michelle Gonzales and husband Ray, of Grove, Oklahoma, Audrey Hayworth of Seattle, Washington, and Wesley Harris and wife Rose, of Grove, Oklahoma, and a special friend Tracy Harris. Christena' is also survived by nine grandchildren, Jessica Lana Heffley, Bailey Price Heffley, Jonathan Lorenzo Gonzales and wife Jamie, Desirae Gonzales, Christopher Gonzales, Sr. and wife Samantha, Andrea Gonzales, Victoria Gonzales, Iris Harris, Alex Harris and Emily Harris, and great grandchildren, Dylan Reyes, Christopher Gonzales Jr. and Justice Lorenzo Gonzales. Graveside services for Christena' will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday October 1, 2013 at the Ottawa Indian Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday September 30, 2013 at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, Oklahoma.
