Christine Deacon

Christine L. Jefferies Sparks-Deacon was born on November 27, 1921 went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on February 26, 2011. She was eighty-nine years old She was married on December 26, 1938 in Grove, Ok to Marion F. Sparks, deceased, for fifty-six years. While at Betty Anne Nursing Center she married Ernest Deacon on September 22, 1999. Christine was a loving wife and mother. She loved caring for babies and small children and was a foster mother for many years. She is survived by one daughter, Gloria O'Neill and one son, Matthew F. Sparks; also, eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. There will be a small graveside burial service on Friday, March 4, 2011 at 3:00 pm at the Southwest City Cemetery in Southwest City, Missouri. Services are under the direction of the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, Oklahoma. Friends and family may leave online condolences at www.honoringmemories.com.
