Cindy Jackson

Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma 918-786-2261. Cynthia "Cindy" Pugh Jackson was born on March 23, 1948 and left this Earth on November 19, 2016 after a short illness and a hard fight. Cindy was the daughter of Raymond Floyd Pugh and Geraldine Spencer Beaver. She was preceded in death by her parents, her grandparents Orvel and Lora Ella Spencer, whom raised her, and a daughter, Darlos Ann Jackson. Cindy worked as a nurse for many years and was the "Florence Nightingale" of her time, she educated and cared for many in her lifetime. Cindy had a masters in nursing and held management or education positions at Jane Phillips Hospital in Bartlesville, Oklahoma; Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma and Select Specialty in Tulsa, Oklahoma, just to name a few. Cindy was an active member of Diversity Christian Fellowship in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Cindy resided in Salina, Oklahoma with her dear friend Valencia Crites and her 2nd mom, Anna Crites for many years. Cindy is survived by her former husband of 37 years, Ed Jackson and son Vernon Jackson of Strang, Oklahoma. Her daughters, Sandy Jackson DeRose of Dallas, Texas and grandchildren Toni, Jessica and Richi and two great granddaughters; Samantha Jackson of Bartlesville, Oklahoma and grandchildren Vanessa, Sarah and Joseph and one great granddaughter, Goldie Blevins Addington of North Richland Hills, Texas and grandchildren Skylar and Drew and two great granddaughters, and Michele Williams of Grove, Oklahoma and grandchildren Ashley, Brittney, Dalton and Mandy and two great granddaughters. A son, Alan Smith of Grove, Oklahoma and grandchildren James, Bobby and Jennifer and eight great grandchildren, a granddaughter Erica and two great granddaughters and one great grandson; a grandson Kenneth and one great granddaughter, and many more foster children and others that called her mom. Cindy is also survived by an uncle and cousins in Alabama, Orvel, Vicki, Valerie and Robert and numerous brother and sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews, and friends.
