Funeral services for Clarence Landrum will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 7, 2012, at The First Baptist Church (Mississippi St.), Nowata, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at the Nowata Memorial Park Cemetery. Services are entrusted to Benjamin Funeral Service of Nowata. Online condolences may be left at www.Honoringmemories.com Clarence Dee Landrum was born February 20, 1957 in Paola, Kansas to Jackson and Ruth (Hunt) Landrum. He passed from this life Friday, March 30, 2012, in Nowata. Clarence was educated and graduated from Nowata High School in 1975. He loved sports and would talk football with any one that had time. He loved his family and would spend hours talking about how they were all doing. He was very proud of his family and would lift them up every chance he got. Clarence enjoyed reading and spending time surfing the internet. His friends were very special to him and he loved them like family. Clarence is preceded in death by his mother Ruth Marie Hunt Landrum. Those left behind to mourn his passing are his father Jackson Landrum Sr.; children, Trecia Nicole Landrum, Clarence Landrum Jr., Meleiaa Powell, Tyler Newton, Shayna Hersey, and Akeyiaa Bagby; brothers, Jack Landrum Jr. and wife Kathy, of Tulsa, and Stephen Landrum and wife Pam of Nowata; grandchildren Xavier Landrum, Trinity Hersey, and Azayiaa Bagby; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
