Funeral Services for Clarence M. McIntyre, Jr. will be Thursday, 10:00 a.m., February 16, 2011 at the Hillside Christian Church in Nowata, Oklahoma with Ben Killion officiating. Interment will follow after the service at 1:30 p.m. at Floral Haven Cemetery in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Services have been entrusted to Benjamin Funeral Service. Online condolences can be left at www.honoringmemories.com. Clarence M. McIntyre, Jr. passed away Sunday, February 12, 2012 at Coffeyville Regional Medical Center in Coffeyville, Kansas. He was born to Georgia (Garey) and Clarence Maywood McIntyre, Sr. on October 26, 1923 in Cottageville, West Virginia. He attended school in Ripley, West Virginia, and later entered the United States Navy where he served the country during World War II. In 1945 Clarence married the love of his life Vivian Louise Neirman in Charleston, West Virginia. Clarence worked in the Oil Industry all his adult life. In 1975 they moved to Nowata where they became members of the Hillside Christian Church. Clarence was dedicated to the oil and gas business. He was a hands on person that could engineer and fix everything. He never let a chance go by to play a practical joke on someone. He had a wonderful sense of humor. His family was the center of his life. His wife of 67 years, his children and grandchildren held a special place in his heart. They will all miss him greatly. Mr. McIntyre is survived by his wife, Vivian Louise McIntyre of Nowata, OK; five children, Joy Gunter and husband Don of Wisconsin, CD "Buzz" McIntyre and wife Twila of Lenapah, Oklahoma, Bill McIntyre and wife Lila of Kentucky, Ron McIntyre and wife Patricia of Texas, and Sue Forrest and husband David of Coffeyville, Kansas; seven grandchildren, Scott Gunter, Melissa Dean, Sara McIntyre, Cody McIntyre, Angela McIntyre, Shane Neal, and David Forrest and five great grandchildren. Clarence is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Georgia McIntyre; a stepson, Jack Myers and two brothers, Delmer McIntyre and Clifford McIntyre.
