Claudine D. Copenhaver, 84, died Thursday, February 25, 2010 at Heritage Villa Nursing Center. Claudine was born January 24, 1926 the daughter of Charlie Denison and Carrie (May) Denison in Breckenridge, Texas. While working for Phillips Petroleum Co. in Phillips Texas she met and married Bill Copenhaver. In 1954 they moved to Bartlesville and made their home. They received assignments at several different locations including Phillips, Texas, Odessa, Texas, Borger, Texas, Parma Italy for six years, London England for one year and Belgium for three years before returning to Bartlesville. Bill preceded her in death in 1984. Claudine was affectionately known by Tiny to her loved ones. She was a member of the East Cross United Methodist Church and the Bartlesville Symphony Society. Her passion was bridge and she belonged to five different bridge clubs. Mrs. Copenhaver is survived by three sister-in-laws; Mary Denison of Longview, Tx, Diane Denison of Sulphur, La and Robbie Copenhaver of Costa Mesa, Ca. Many Nieces and Nephews and her loving cat Hershey. She is preceded in death by her Husband, Parents, three Brothers and one Sister. The family wishes to express a special thank you for all of the care and friendship provided by, Bob and Diane Seeman, Lenna and Kristie Kier, Carol Anderson and Artie Neff. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the East Cross United Methodist Church, 820 SE Madison Blvd., Bartlesville, Ok 74006, The Bartlesville Symphony Society or the Bartlesville Symphony Orchestra, PO Box 263, Bartlesville, Ok 74005. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from Six to Eight p.m. at the Neekamp-Luginbuel Funeral Home. Memorial services for Mrs. Copenhaver will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at the East Cross United Methodist Church. Rev. Emery Mason of the East Cross United Methodist Church of Bartlesville, Ok. will preside over the services. Services are under the direction of the Neekamp-Luginbuel Funeral Home.
