Clayton Gilbert

Clayton James Gilbert, age 40, of Bartlesville, OK passed away Monday, March 28, 2022, at Oklahoma City’s Mercy Hospital.

Clayton was born December 16, 1981, at Tulsa, Oklahoma to Jimmie Lodean Gilbert and Dorothy Lynn (Sutton) Gilbert. He moved to Bartlesville at an early age and has been a resident ever since.  Clayton graduated from Bartlesville High School.  He enjoyed football, bowling, and music, as well as spending time with his family and friends.  Clayton was of the Christian faith and was a machinist, most recently for Oilfield Pipe & Supply of Dewey, Oklahoma.

Survivors include his mother, Lynn Sutton of Bartlesville; his fiancée, Cassandra “Cassie” Parks and her son, Michael, of Bartlesville; a sister, Christina Gilbert of Bartlesville; two nieces and a nephew.  He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmie, and by a sister, Kathryn Jones.

A memorial service will be held 2pm, Thursday, April 7, 2022, at the chapel of Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home with Pastor Steven Griffith, officiating.  Service and cremation are under the direction of Arnold Moore & Neeekamp Funeral Home.  To send an online condolence, visit www.honoringmemories.com.
