Graveside funeral services for Clifford Fredrick Murphy will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 16, 2011, at Ball Cemetery, Childers Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Benjamin Funeral Service of Nowata. Clifford Murphy, 90 year old Nowata resident, died Saturday, November 12, 2011, at his nephew Bob Billups home in Peggs, Oklahoma. He was born October 9, 1921, at Coody's Bluff, Oklahoma to Luther Harvey, and Rosa Belle (Allen) Murphy. He attended the Armstrong and Nowata Schools. Clifford worked and retired from Raymond's Seed and Feed in Nowata. He was a very friendly and enjoyable man to be around. He liked to tell stories and talked to everyone. He is remembered by many and will be missed by all who knew him. Preceding Mr. Murphy in death are his parents Luther and Rosa Murphy, brothers, Riley and Leroy Murphy, and sisters Martha Ele, and Minnie Hewitt.
