The Lord got a new roper when Clinton Kyle Crane went to join His team on August 6, 2011 Clinton was born February 20, 1981 in Vinita to Rick And Diane (Reheard) Crane. Clinton was a 2000 graduate of Vinita High School. Soon after graduation, Clinton began traveling the country with his favorite roping horse, Speedy. That successful partnership earned them titles, buckles, saddles and a pickup truck. After an auto accident in 2008 ended his roping career, Clinton began training to be a leather craftsman at Green Country Vo-Tech in Okmulgee, recently completing his first saddle. Clinton was also an avid hunter both before and after his accident and enjoyed spending time teaching his son Coltyn, 6, about horses, hunting and fishing. Clinton is survived by his parents, Rick and Diane Crane of Vinita; his son, Coltyn Kyle Crane of Vinita; his sister, Kristin Tarbush and her husband Brady Tarbush of Yukon; his maternal grandparents Gladys (Reheard) Redman and Ray Redman of Vinita and the late Tom Reheard; paternal grandparents Margie Harlan of Vinita and Leon Crane and Carolyn Crane of Branson, Mo.; paternal great-grandmother Imogene Miller of Bernice; aunts and uncles Don and Tamara Reheard of Vinita, Deborah Reheard and her husband Dale Gill of Checotah, Randy and Cris Crane of Gainesville, Texas, and Rita and Chip Pilialoha of Chaney, Washington and many cousins and extended family members. The family will receive guests at Luginbuel Funeral Home in Vinita on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. Services will be held at Craig County Baptist Church in Vinita at 10 a.m. Wednesday August 10 with the Rev. Wade Markham officiating. Burial will follow in McLaughlin Cemetery in Cleora. Arrangements are through Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita. Online condolences may be made at www.honoringmemories.com.
