Luginbuel Funeral Home - Vinita - 918-256-5555 Clyde Robert "Zip" Hall, 86 year old Vinita resident, died Sunday, May 4, 2014. Zip was born in Flora, IL on July 27, 1927 to Charles and Alva (Combs) Hall. On August 20, 1948 he was united in marriage to Geraldine Brown and together they raised two children. Zip was a very active and hardworking man. He worked in the oil industry for numerous years, taking him all over the world. He also owned and ran Halls Truck Stop and Café. He was Shriner of the Year in 1980. He was also a member of the Eastern Star, the VFW, the Tulsa Consistory, a 32nd Degree Mason with the Vinita Chapter #5, and Commander of the American Legion for 5 years. Survivors include his children: Robert "Bobby" Hall and wife Vicki of Claremore and Sharon Tresemer and husband Dave of Joplin, 11 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Geraldine, one sister, and 7 brothers. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Thursday, May 8, 2014 at the Luginbuel Funeral Chapel.
