Clyde C. Vaughn, age 56, of Strang, Oklahoma died Friday August 21, 2009 at Craig General Hospital in Vinita. He was born July 30, 1953 in Kansas City, Missouri the son of Willis Vaughn, and Wilma Griffith Vaughn. He was raised and educated in Kansas City and Denver, CO. he was a truck driver, driving for B. J. freight for many years then managed the Bumper to Bumper Auto Parts in Vinita. Clyde enjoyed fishing, crocheting, tinkering with cars, riding horses and most of all spending time with family and grandchildren. Survivors include his five children: April and Mikiel Carr of Langley, OK, Pamela and Michael Shellenbarger of Langley, OK, Janet and Aaron Kralicek of Vinita, OK, Crystal Vaughn of Vinita and Clyde Chester Vaughn, Jr. and Ashley, Rimes of Langley, OK three brothers Steve Vaughn, Stan Vaughn Jesse Vaughn and one sister, Patsy Russell, his grandchildren, Pollyanna, Leanna, Michael, Brittany and Kasey Shellenbarger, Grace Lynn, Aaron and Makalynn Kracilek, Tyvek, Jessica and Kada Carr and Sonja Rimes and numerous nieces nephews and cousins He was preceded in death by his wife of 32 years Paula Jan Vaughn, his father, one brother and one sister. Funeral services will be Tuesday August 25, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at Luginbuel Funeral Home with Rev. George Vaughn officiating with interment to follow in White Oak Cemetery.
