Cole James Chaney, age 22, died Tuesday August 5, 2008 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Lamar, South Carolina. He was born on January 20, 1986 in Pryor, OK and is the son of Carol Ray Chaney Jr. and Joyce Ann Cole. He was reared and educated in the Adair, Ketchum area gradating high School at Adair. Cole and Krystal Rogers were united in marriage on April 10, 2006 in Comanche County, Oklahoma, and they made their home at Ft. Sill where Cole was serving in the Army. Cole was a very loving and dictated man to his family, friends and fellow soldiers, he believed in and lived by Army values. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting guns, tinkering on cars and trucks. Cole leaves behind his wife Krystal of the home, a one year old son KayCee Jack, His father and step mother, Carol Ray & Trish Chaney, one brother, Cale Chaney of Ft. Bragg, South Carolina, a step sister, Courtney Curry of Norman, OK., and many friends. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday August 12, 2008 in the Ketchum High School Gymnasium with Pastor James Rainwater officiating with interment to follow in Carse Lowey Cemetery with full military honors provided by the Ft. Sill Honor Guard team. Visitation will be Monday August 11, 2008 from 6:00 till 8:00 p.m. at the Luginbuel Funeral Home in Vinita. Online condolences may be left at www.honoringmemories.com
