Conley Turnbough

Conley Jay Turnbough, sixty six year resident of Vinita died Friday May 13, 2011 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born September 9, 1944 in Chetopa, KS the son of Albert and Ruth (Kepner) Turnbough and was raised and educated in Columbus, KS then moved to Vinita in 1996. Conley was a loving father, brother and grandfather, and attended the Baptist Church and worked at Medal processing Plant in Oswego, KS then spent ten years working at Fairview Cemetery in Vinita. He enjoyed carpentry work and building, junking, mechanic work, music, fishing, but mostly he loved spending quality and enjoyable time with his family and grandchildren. Surviving Conley are his children: Kayleen & Todd Harrison of Vinita, Jessie & Carrie Turnbough of Vinita, Conway Turnbough Jr. of Vinita, Conley Owen Ratcliff of Vinita, Marilyn Turnbough of Vinita, Donnie Turnbough of Vinita, Jamie Champlin of Vinita, Becky Boys of Bixby, OK, Billy & Sebrina Ratcliff of Vinita, Conley J. & Miranda Turnbough of Boise, ID, Cherie Servin of California, Debbie Lytle, brothers and sisters: Ben and Marie Stout of Columbus, KS, Jess & Shirley Turnbough of Wichita, KS, James & Ruby Turnbough of Columbus, KS, Mark & Donald Johnson of Columbus, KS, Kathryn & Dino Parise of Scammon, KS, Danny & Marge Anderson of Parsons, KS, Dean & Lori Turnbough of Macksville, KS, Charles & Lisa Turnbough of Kansas, Albert & Gloria Turnbough of Baxter, KS, Joyce Mc Gee of Texas and Diane Frazier of Joplin, MO numerous nieces and nephews and many grand & great grandchildren. Also are very close friends Debbie Siegal, Helen Morris and Nedra Huselten. He was preceded in death by his parents, his step father, Claude Johnson one brother, a sister and five grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Thursday May 19, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Luginbuel Funeral Home with Pastor Justin Turner officiating with interment to follow in Fairview cemetery.
