Connie Jackson

Connie Kindle Jackson, age 82 of Colcord, Oklahoma passed away Saturday, July 25, 2009 at her residence. Connie was born April 4, 1927 in Antlers, Oklahoma to Charles E. Bassett and Carrie Bassett (Davis). She was a caregiver for most of her life and enjoyed her work very much. Connie was a member of the Church Of Christ in Colcord. Connie is survived by her children, Larry and Jan Kindle of Locust Grove, Oklahoma, Tony Kindle of Ketchikan, Alaska, Keith and Phyllis Kindle of Johnson City, Tennessee, Peggy and Everett Englehardt of Albany, Oregon, Sue and Bill Stensland of Colcord, Oklahoma, sister, Helen Cochran of Yakima, Washington, ten grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Bill Kindle, son, Joe Kindle and her brother Sam Bassett. The family would like to give a special thanks to the caregivers, Janet, Candy, Amanda, Mary, Elyse, Frankie and her nurse Helen Gish who took such great care of her. Visitation will be Tuesday, July 28, 2009 from 10am to 5pm at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay, Oklahoma. Funeral service will be Wednesday, July 29, 10am at the Church of Christ in Colcord, Oklahoma with Pastor Larry Ellis officiating, followed by a burial at Sanders-Proctor Cemetery, Proctor, Oklahoma Family and friends may sign online condolence at www.honoringmemories.com
