Funeral services for Cressa Anne Ewers are 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at Benjamin Funeral Service Chapel with Pastor Lawrence Green officiating. Cressa Anne Ewers, 49, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at the Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville. Cressa was born July 30, 1964 in Bartlesville to Mary Ann (Benefiel) and George A. White. She graduated from Catoosa High School in 1982. Cressa worked for Lowrance Electronics in Tulsa as an assembler. She moved to Nowata in 2000 and was employed by Eagle Mart, A.J.'s, Delaware Food Mart and the Childers Store. On November 4, 2005, Cressa married Jay T. Ewers at Miami, Oklahoma and the couple continued to make Nowata their home. She loved to get in the truck with Jay and spend time with him. Cressa loved her grandkids and her Pepsi. She was of the Pentecostal Faith. Cressa is survived by her husband Jay of the home; four children, Shawna and her husband Shane Trotter of Nowata, Kenny Stover and his wife Jennifer of Nowata, J.T. Ewers and his wife Lindsay of Claremore, Jarrett Gilmore and his girlfriend Andrea of Nowata; two sisters, Kathy and her husband Chester Grissom of Childers, Ruthie Schlimm of Nowata; aunt Evon Stark of Nowata, thirteen grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Patricia White.
