Curtis Bush

JAY -- Curtis E. Bush, 91, died May 21, 2007 at the Monroe Manor in Jay Oklahoma. Curtis was born December 23, 1915 in Dodsonville Texas to Oscar Eugene Bush and Oma Nancy (Childers) Bush. Curtis was united in marriage to Virginia Carol Folger February 21, 1934 in Keifer Oklahoma. She preceded him in death in 2005. Mr. Bush retired as a construction supervisor in Tulsa Oklahoma and moved to the Jay area in 1975. He enjoyed coon-hunting, fishing, and hunting rabbits. Curtis was a member of the Masonic Lodge and was a 32nd Degree Mason. Survivors include his two sons, Curtis E. Bush Jr. and his wife Pat, and Bobby Wayne Bush and his wife Ruby both of Eucha Oklahoma, eighteen grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren. Curtis was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a son, Harry Eugene Bush and a daughter Shirley Ann Miller. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. Thursday, May 24, 2007 at the Jay Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 25, 2007 at the Jay Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home with Pastor Johnny Scott officiating.
