Luginbuel South Grand Lake Funeral Home - 918-782-4400... Curtis E. Simmons, 85 year old Ketchum resident, passed away Saturday, November 11, 2017. Curtis was born in Waurika, OK on June 12, 1932 to Everett and Rossie (Griffith) Simmons. On September 20, 1952 he was united in marriage to Barbara Dinwiddie and together they raised three children. Curtis served in the United States Army from 1952-1954. He worked construction for numerous years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, visiting people at Buddy Foods while drinking his coffee, and doing yardwork. He is also a member of Ketchum Seventh Day Adventist Church. Survivors include his wife Barbara of the home, children: Carolyn Wigelsworth and husband Carl of Ketchum, Terri Christian and husband James of Falcon, CO, and Tim Simmons and wife Cheryl of Riverside, CA, grandchildren: Nathan Christian, Sean Christian, Chad Wigelsworth, and Curt Wigelsworth, great grandchildren: Izak Wigelsworth, Kylee Wigelsworth, and Eli Wigelsworth, and sisters: Louise Doss of Riverside, CA, and Lorene Pagel of Banning, CA. He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Bernice Helm, Leroy Simmons, and Vesta Bryant. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Thursday, November 16, 2017 at the Ketchum Seventh Day Adventist Church with Pastor Andrew Spooner officiating. Interment will follow at Ketchum Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the Ketchum Adventist Academy. Services are under the direction of Luginbuel South Grand Lake Funeral Home.
