Daisy was born in Springfield, Missouri on April 14, 1926, to Anguss and Cora Bert (Blan) Hight. She married Lee Baxter on July 17, 1948 in Springfield, Missouri. Daisy was a charter member of Elk River Baptist Church and served in the nursery. She always helped out in the kitchen. Daisy enjoyed traveling and playing all kinds of games; table games, card games and was a Yahtzee officianato. She loved football and the Kansas City Chiefs. Daisy was also a modified stock car racing fan. She enjoyed spending time with friends, family, her kids and her grandkids. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three siblings Walter Hight, James Hight, and Wanetta Hollaway and one niece Wanda Lee Giggy. Daisy is survived by four daughters, Mary Lou Enloe of Kansas City, KS, Connie Martin of Grove, OK, Patty Hylton of Springdale, AR, and Tammy Baxter of Grove, OK; one granddaughter, Sheri Lee of Kansas City, MO; six grandsons, Frankie Enloe of Kansas City, MO, Tony Martin of Portland, OR, Russell Hylton of Wichita, KS, Monty Hylton of Wichita, KS, Travis Hylton of Springdale, AR, and David Kane of Kansas City, MO; 8 great granddaughters, 4 great grandsons, 1 great-great granddaughter, 1 nephew, 1 great niece, 2 great nephews and a host of friends and extended family. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2015, at 1:30 pm at Elk River Baptist Church in Grove, Oklahoma. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 from 6:00-7:30 pm at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, Oklahoma. Donations may be made to Elk River Baptist Church or to your favorite charity.
