Daisy Hays

Daisy Eilene Hays Hays, age 87, a resident of Dewey died Monday January 8, 2007 Medicalodge in Dewey. She was born May 3, 1919 in Arkansas City, Kansas the daughter of Claude and Verna (Snell) Hays. She was reared and educated in Kansas and Oklahoma moving to the Bartlesville area in 1940 from Sycamore, KA. She was active with the Salvation Army and enjoyed socializing with family and friends. She is survived by two brothers, Merle Hays and Floyd Hays both of Bartlesville, three sisters, Mary and her husband Robert Hardin of Palestine, Texas, Peggy Wisinger and Ruby Trammel both of Bartlesville, OK. She was preceded in death by one son, Phillip Hays, her parents, three sisters and four brothers. Graveside services will be Wednesday January 10, 2006 at White Rose Cemetery with Captain Carlyle Gargis of the Salvation army officiating, under the direction of Neekamp -Luginbuel Funeral home. Memorial's may be made in Daisy's name to the Salvation Army for those who wish to make a donation may do so in care of their office at 508 W. Hensley Blvd. Bartlesville, OK 74003.
