Dakota Lea Sweet, sixteen year old resident of the Ketchum area died Wednesday March 30, 2011. Dakota was born March 3, 1995 in Tulsa, OK to Brenda Sweet and Fred Helm. The family moved to the area in 2000 from Tulsa and was attending school at Ketchum. He was a member of the Cleora Baptist and First Southern Baptist Church in Ketchum and enjoyed basketball, hiking, drawing and art, hunting and fishing and really liked working his summer job with L& S Cattle Company. Dakota leaves behind his parents Brenda Sweet and Fred Helm of the home, one brother, Jacob Collins, a sister, Megan and husband Chris Teague, grand parents, Twila & Bill Rex, Judy Dittman and Mary & Walter Helm, numerous aunts, uncles cousins and nieces, Madison and Alea. A memorial service will be Saturday April 2, 2011 at the Ketchum High School Gymnasium at 11:00 a.m. with Pastors Kevin Lancaster and David Pifer officiating. Arrangements are by Luginbuel Funeral Home.
