Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay, Oklahoma 918-253-3222. Frenchen Daniel "Dan" Masters, 50, of Jay, died Tuesday, October 4 at Hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa, after a sudden illness. Dan was born November 5, 1965 into the Wolf Clan of the Cherokee Nation at Claremore Indian Hospital and lived in the Jay Oklahoma area all his life. Dan was a 1984 graduate of Jay High School and worked his whole life with his hands. Dan will always be remembered as the quiet one but always had a story or a funny saying ready to make the family laugh. Dan married Sherri Cotrill on October 17, 2009. Survivors include his wife Sherri of the home, daughters Whitney and husband Dustin of Adair, Paige and husband Deke of Langley, Hailie of Vinita and Brooklyn of the home, father Tony Masters of Jay, brothers Ken Masters of Houston Texas and Mike Masters with fiancé Terri of Ozark, MO, nephews Chad and Linda Crank of Jay, Nathan Barnes of Bartlesville, OK, Ty Masters and wife Veronica of Green Forest Arkansas and Pake Masters of Berryville, AR. He is also survived by nieces Kamicia and husband Jesse Lunsford of Wyoming, Michelle Renner and husband Roger of Anderson, MO and six grandchildren McKynzie, Brandt, Landan, Natalie, Jeyton, Dilaney. Dan was preceded in death by his mother Naomi Masters and sisters Jonni Lynn Masters and Charlotte Elaine Crank. Visitation will be Thursday, October 06,2016 from 6-8 PM at Worley Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10 AM Friday, October 07, 2016 at Delaware Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Cheater Cemetery in the Whitewater community. Pallbearers will be his nephews Pake Masters, Ty Masters, Chad Crank, Nathan Barnes, Brian Barnes and Jesse Lunsford
