Darlene E. Deruy Obituary Grove, Ok. - Darlene E. Deruy, 96, died Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at Integris Grove General Hospital. She was born on January 26, 1912 to Daniel and Anna (Bradehoff) McCaffrey. Darlene was married to Norvelle R. Deruy. He preceded her in death in 1982. She was a Pink Lady at Mt. Carmel Hospital in Pittsburg, Kansas for ten years. Darlene enjoyed china painting, knitting and crocheting. She was a member of First Christian Church and attended Delaware Baptist Church. Survivors include her daughter Vicki Bronson and husband, Rick; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, one son, Robert Deruy and one sister, Thelma Collier. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 3, 2008 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel in Grove with Pastor Gary Bishop officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Park Cemetery in Pittsburg, Kansas at 1:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to NE Kennel Club or Pittsburg State University Norvelle R.
