Daryle George Lamphear, 77 year old Jay, Oklahoma resident passed away Monday, August 22, 2011 following an extended illness. Daryle was born on August 23, 1933 in Cherokee City, Arkansas to Irvin and Evelyn (Dawson) Lamphear. He was a avid outdoorsman who enjoyed deer hunting and fishing as well as auctions and gardening, but most of all enjoyed spending time with his family. Daryle retired from Delaware County as a road foreman. Daryle was preceded in death by his wife, Betty (Tucker) and three brothers, Marvin Lamphear, Eugene Lamphear, and Harold James Lamphear. Daryle is survived by a son, Nathan Lamphear of Rose, Oklahoma, four daughters, Sharon Jeffries of Jay, Oklahoma, Lisa Mason and husband Rick, of Eucha, Oklahoma, Darrell Ann Barchus, and husband Cliff, of Grove, Oklahoma, and Kelly Henson and husband David, of Langley, Oklahoma, brother, Troy Lamphear and wife Joyce, of Miami, Oklahoma, and a sister Francis Gallanari and husband Frank, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Daryle is also survived by twelve grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren. Funeral services for Daryle will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, August 26, 2011 at the Grace Meadows Church in Maysville, Arkansas. A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 25, 2011, at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay, Oklahoma.
