Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Grove, Oklahoma 918-786-2261. David Lee Brixey,47 year old resident of Jay, Oklahoma, passed away on August 5, 2017. David was born on December 25, 1969 in Jay, Oklahoma, and being born on Christmas day, he was the greatest gift a mother could ever receive. David attended the Zena Baptist Church as a child and was baptized by Dolphus Blevins on October 2, 1977. David attended school in Grove and graduated in 1988. He worked for Wal-Mart in Arkansas before coming back home five years ago and became a care giver for his Grandmother Juanita Brixey. David loved collecting things; he collected comic books, movies, Star wars memorabilia and guitars. His greatest love though was his children. David was preceded in death by his brother James Creig Wilson and his grandfathers; Commodore Brixey and Luchion Bacon and his father Robert "Red" Brixey, and his uncle Tim Wilson. He is survived by his parents; Dale and Linda Wilson, his sister Jennifer Ryan and her children Tristan and Jordan Ryan. His children; Tommy, Brandi and Kristi and their mother Lisa of Rogers, Arkansas. His grandmothers Juanita Brixey and Faye Terry. His Uncles Bill Brixey and his wife Karen, Larry Bacon and his wife Leona and their families. His step-mother; Vickie Brixey and her daughters Kim Davenport (Mike) and Michelle Jones (Wes) and their families. And a host of families and friends too numerous to mention. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, August 10, 2017 at Zena Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to the funeral home to help off set expenses.
