David Allen Rodgers passed away Thursday, May 2, 2013 at his home in Mounds. He was born March 6, 1963 in Nowata to Myrna (Stierwalt) and Carl Wesley Rodgers, Jr. He loved watching Nascar racing and drag racing. David is survived by his daughter, Ashley Sowder and husband Denney of Sapulpa; his mother, Myrna Rodgers of Mounds; a sister, Donna Hudson and her husband Rick of Tulsa. He is preceded in death by his father, Carl Rodgers, Jr. Arrangements have been entrusted to Benjamin Funeral Service. Services will be announced at a later date.
