Debra Allen

Debra L. Allen, 54 year old Vinita resident, died Saturday, October 13, 2012 at the Craig General Hospital in Vinita. She was born January 6, 1958 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas to Jesse Porter and Donna (Aucutt) Porter Hicks. After leaving Ft. Smith, they moved to Big Cabin, where she attended school and graduated from Big Cabin High School. Debra was married to Tommy Allen, he preceded her in death in 2010. She had worked at several places in Vinita, including, Eastern State Hospital, Grand Lake Mental Health, restaurants and Jones Hilltop Convenience Store. The family includes: her parents, Jesse Porter of Denver, CO, Donna Hicks of Vinita; children, Felecia Allen of Vinita, Kevin Allen of Tulsa; siblings, Jay Porter, Ted Hicks, Teresa Cantu, all of Vinita, half-sister, Terri Porter of Denver, CO; and three grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday evening October 18, 2012 at the Luginbuel Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Saturday, October 20, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the United Missionary Baptist Church in Vinita, with Pastors Anthony Nash and Farris Downing officiating.
