Deloris Looney

Deloris Looney, age 85, of Vinita died Saturday February 7, 2009 at Rosewood Terrace Nursing center in Vinita. She was born February 9, 1923 in Wichita, KS to Doris Graham and Mona (Davis) Graham. She was reared and received her formal education in Augusta, Kansas where she graduated high school. She moved to Vinita from Pryor, OK in 1970 and was a member of the First Baptist Church. Deloris was an LPN and worked at Dr. Thompson's office, Eastern State hospital and the Vinita Senior companion for many years. She loved playing bingo, cooking and family gatherings. She is survived by three daughters, Dawn and husband John Lind of Ketchum, OK, Tonya Dilley and husband Cecil of Glendale, AZ, and Rebecca Fleig of Prescott, AZ, two sisters, Charlene Campbell of Hemet, CA, and Shirley Guy of Augusta, KS five grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers James and Darrell Graham. A private family memorial service is planned for a later date. Cremation arrangements are by Luginbuel Funeral Home.
