Dempsey Mills

Dempsey Michael "Mike" Mills, 68 year old, Kansas, Oklahoma resident passed away, Tuesday September 1, 2011. Mike was born in Eucha, Oklahoma on November 29, 1942 to Dempsey Abraham and Leona Hazel (Dykes) Mills. Mike graduated from Jay High School, and attended Northeastern State University. He also served his country in the United States Army. Mike had several different careers, first for the City of Tulsa at Lake Eucha, then as an Oilfield worker and finally as a tag agent in Jay, Oklahoma. Mike enjoyed fishing and gardening as well as camping. Mike was preceded in death by his parents. Mike is survived by his wife Sue, of the home, son, Joe Mike Mills and wife Raina, of Carrollton, Texas, daughters Bobbie Dawn Reece and husband (Robert) of Eucha, Oklahoma, Keri Denise Jordan and husband Chris, of Plano, Texas, and Kathy Danae Singhaus, and husband Mark of Plano, Texas, five brothers, Jack Robertson and wife Pat, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Bill Reno and wife Malinda, of Ketchum, Jim Reno and wife Linda of Jay, Oklahoma, Tim Reno and wife Tony, of Eucha, Oklahoma, and Don Reno and wife Brenda of Nowata, Oklahoma, a sister, Charlene Brown and husband Richard of Thompson Station, Tennessee, ten grandchildren, Landon Steele Mills, Taylor Reynolds, Linsey Jordan, Sydney Jordan, Kelby Singhaus, Zack Singhaus, McKennah Singhause, Jayce Morris, Jori Morris, and Josie Reece. Funeral services for Mike will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday September 6, 2011 at the First Baptist Church in Jay, Oklahoma. A visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday September 5, 2011 at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay, Oklahoma.
