Dennis Eugene DuBois, 64 year old Grove resident, passed away on Friday, January 18, 2019. Dennis was born in Neosho, MO on October 13, 1954 to Watie Eugene DuBois and Ruth Ann (Petty) DuBois. Dennis graduated from Grove High School in 1973. Dennis excelled as a student in academics and as an athlete. He played football and ran track. He received a full ride scholarship to McPherson College in McPherson, KS. He later attended Tulsa Welding School. Dennis made his career in welding and construction and worked for his father's pipeline company DuBois Construction. Dennis marred the love of his life Sharon Lee Mills on his birthday, October 13, 1983. Dennis enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Dennis loved to travel and took many vacations throughout his life.
Dennis is preceded in death by his wife Sharon DuBois, mother Ruth Ann (Petty) DuBois, sister Teresa Lynn DuBois, brother Barry Morris DuBois, and his nephews Ricky Sala, Jr. and Christian DuBois.
Survivors include his father Watie Eugene DuBois, nieces: Amy Burell, Ashley Epperson, Angelica DuBois, Danielle Kelly, Keatyn Kelly, and Nova Dubois, nephews: Christopher DuBois, Bradon Kelly, and Bryce Epperson, and long time special friends Carol Betts and Pam Campbell.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 from 5-7 pm at the Grove Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Worley Luginbuel Funeral Home of Grove. Online condolences may be made at www.honoringmemories.com or on the Worley Luginbuel Facebook page.
