Don Duncan

ARNOLD MOORE & NEEKAMP FUNERAL HOME, BARTLESVILLE, OK (918) 336-5225 - Don Stephen "Steve" Duncan, age 63 and Bartlesville resident, passed away on Monday, June 12, 2017 at his home. Steve was born on March 24, 1954 in Jay, Oklahoma. He was the son of Don Theodore Duncan and Patricia (Hocker) Duncan. He was raised in the Jay area where he received his formal education. It was in the early 1970s that Steve moved to Bartlesville where he has lived since that time. He married the love of his life, Nancy Elaine Oldham, in Bartlesville on March 3, 1973. She preceded him in death. Steve was employed in the construction business as a carpenter. He also had worked as a mechanic. He was of the Christian faith. He loved to work with his hands. Also, he enjoyed golfing, fishing and reading. Steve loved his grandchildren and had a big heart for everyone. He will be missed by all his family and those who knew him. Survivors include four children, Stephen Robert Duncan (Karie), Gregory Don Duncan (Kristin), Brent Anthony Duncan, and Kaitlyn Louise Spence (Curt), all of Bartlesville; four sisters, Linda Nair (Jeevan) of Frisco, Texas, Kathy Wimer (Richard) of Bartlesville, Dianne Hankins of Sand Springs, Oklahoma and Renee Barnes (Alan) of Dewey, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; and other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Anthony R. Duncan; and his sister, Sharla J. Duncan Come and go visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2:00-8:00 PM and Thursday from 9:00 AM-8:00 PM in the Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home, 710 S. Dewey Ave., Bartlesville. Services will be held on Friday at 10:00 AM in the Dewey First Christian Church, 9th & Wyandotte, Dewey. Rev. Casey Parham of the Dewey First Christian Church and Pastor Chuck McCarthy of the Bible Baptist Church will be the officiants. Burial will follow the service in White Rose Cemetery.
