Don Henson

Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay, Oklahoma 918-253-3222. Don Olan Henson, 82-year-old resident of Jay, Oklahoma, passed away on July 6, 2018 at the Grove Nursing Center in Grove, Oklahoma. Don was born on August 24, 1935 in Spavinaw, Oklahoma. He was the son of Art and Bessie Mae (Conner) Henson. Don was a successful and extremely talent carpenter and craftsman by trade. Don was a member of the Mt. Hermon Church. Don was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Bonnie (Gibe) Henson, a son, Donald Dale Henson, and his brother Wayne Henson. He is survived by his sister; Eleanor Jean Gibe of Jay, Oklahoma, three sons, Lonnie Leon Henson, Ronald Ray Henson and Jonnie Jay Henson and seven grandchildren. Don is also survived by two step daughters; Billie Jean Duffield and Crystal Kay Hutchison and numerous step grandchildren and great grandchildren that called him "Papa". Graveside services were held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Mt. Hermon Cemetery in Jay, Oklahoma with Pastor Tim Lundsford officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home of Jay, Oklahoma.
