Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home, Jay, Oklahoma, 918-253-3222. Donald Gene Coker, 81, passed away on March 17, 2018 at his residence in Jay, Oklahoma. Donald was born on October 18, 1936 in Caldwell, Kansas. He was the son of Delmar and Berniece (Sargent) Coker. Donald was an avid fisherman, he loved being outdoors and working in his garden. Donald had a passion for power tools, lawn mowers and heavy equipment. Donald was definitely a "people person" he was always very generous and would be the first to help someone in need. Donald was preceded in death by his parents Delmar and Berniece Coker and one brother Gilbert Coker. He is survived by his wife Deva Lea (Quinn) Coker of the home, his son; Rusty Coker and wife Leslie of Topeka, Kansas, two daughters; Heather Anderson and husband David of Wellington, Kansas and Brandi Coker and Kevin Hoheisel of Wichita, Kansas, Donald's twin brother Ronald D. Coker and wife Laveta of Colcord, Oklahoma. Donald was blessed with five grandchildren; Traci, Austin, Hayden, Blake and Eli, eight great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Conley Chesney officiating.
