Donald L. "Don" Reynolds, 91, formerly of Nowata, OK died Saturday, October 22, 2011 at his home in Langley, OK. Donald L. Reynolds was born March 19, 1920 in Kansas City, Missouri the son of John Lynn and Grace Reynolds. Don grew up in Nowata County, graduating from Delaware High School. He was united in marriage to Virginia Conard and to this union he gained: a daughter, Dody and son, Bill. Following the untimely death of his wife Virginia, Don was later married to Viola McCracken on August 1, 1975. With this union, Don gained additional family: a daughter, Glenda and sons: Gary and Randy. Don and Viola made their home in Nowata, OK. They enjoyed traveling and attending various church activities, including singing in the First Baptist Church's Sr. Adult choir, the "Golden Notes". Don worked various jobs around Nowata before securing a career with Reda Pump of Bartlesville, OK where he worked as a Motor Winder until his retirement. Don is survived by: his wife of 36 years, Viola Reynolds of the home; 4 children: Dody Maggard of Mannford, OK; Glenda Smith and husband Eugene of Langley, OK; Gary Crumbliss and wife Phyllis of Nowata, OK and Randy Crumbliss of Indonesia; 13 grandchildren: David W. Maggard of Mannford, OK; Joe Don Maggard and wife Debbie of Mannford, OK; Jim LaBarr and wife, Jeanine of Tulsa, OK; Mike LaBarr and wife Sherri of Claremore, OK; Mark LaBarr and wife Tonya of Nowata, OK; Tim LaBarr and wife Stacy of San Antonio, TX; Dawana McNutt and husband Mark of Mounds, OK; Steve Smith and wife Regina of Mounds, OK; Shannon Smith of San Antonio, TX; Lisa Copeland and husband Wayne of Langley, OK; Audrey Crumbliss of Norman, OK; Alan Johnson and wife Angie of Nowata, OK and Teresa Bell and husband Ralph of Watova, OK; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren along with various other relatives and friends. Don was preceded in death by: his parents; wife, Virginia (Conard) Reynolds; and son, Bill LaBarr. Memorial Donations in Don's honor may be gifted to: 1033 Wheelchair Van in Nowata or to the Nowata Historical Museum. A graveside service to honor Don's life will be held at 2:00pm, Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at Nowata's Relocated Cemetery. Services have been entrusted to Benjamin Funeral Service.
