Donald Woolman Jr.

Donald Lee Woolman, Jr., age 51 of Jay, died Friday, December 9, 2011. Donald was born in Longmont, Colorado on April 27, 1960 the son of Donald and Margarete Woolman. He was a 1978 graduate of Bluejacket High School. He later graduated from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M with a Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture. He served 28 years servings in the United States Army National Guard and Army Reserve. He enjoyed music, working with his horses, fishing, hunting, and was a member of the American Legion. Survivors include his four children; Crystal Holmes of Afton, OK Kari Hunt and husband Bobby of Helena, Alabama, Misti Woolman of Lakeview, Colorado, and Billy Taylor of Kansas, OK, eight grandchildren; Tayah Holmes, Morgan Holmes, Nate Holmes, Chris Holmes, Logan Maloney, Lexi Maloney, Brooklyn Evans, and Preston Taylor, parents Donald Woolman of Jay and Margarete Braungardt of Hotchkiss, Colorado, five sisters and four brothers. He was preceded by brother Shane Woolman and granddaughter Chloe Evans. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at the Luginbuel Funeral Chapel. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Thursday, December 15, 2011 at the Luginbuel Funeral Chapel with Pastor Freddy Griffin officiating. Interment will follow at Pheasant Hill Cemetery.
