ARNOLD MOORE & NEEKAMP FUNERAL HOME, BARTLESVILLE, OK (918) 336-5225 - Donna Rogers, age 82 and former resident of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, March 17, 2017, in Houston, Texas. Donna Andrews was born at home in Oregon County, Missouri on May 3, 1934 to Cora and Alfred Andrews, the middle of three sisters. Donna married Charles Rogers on July 16, 1952 in West Plains, Missouri. They moved to Bartlesville in 1955 after Charles' service in the Korean War. Donna worked as a personal bookkeeper for K.S. "Boots" Adams at Philips Petroleum Company. A few years later she worked side by side with Charles to start The Rogers Agencies, Inc. - an independent insurance agency, Builders Insulation Company, Inc. and Bluestem Fence Company. Donna was an impeccable seamstress, meticulous wallpaper hanger and took great pride in her home and family. She enjoyed golf, bridge, crossword puzzles, the stock market and foreign travel. She was an avid Arkansas Razorback football fan and season ticket holder for 50 years. Donna was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Charles. She is survived by daughters, Valorie and Mellany and their husbands, Rick and Jim; son, Charles Lane; grandchildren, Ryan, Kevin, Shannon, Kelly, Charlie and Laura. Friends are cordially invited to a visitation from 6:00-8:00 in the evening on Friday, March 24, at Arnold Moore & Neekamp Funeral Home, 710 S. Dewey Ave. A private graveside service will follow the next day. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to the Alzheimer's Association, www.alz.org.
