Donzella Cochran was born April 27, 1930 in Old Eucha to Dewey and Minnie Soldier-Teehee. Donzella passed away on December 16, 2011 at her home. She is preceded in death by her parents Dewey and Minnie Teehee, two sisters, Juanita Daugherty and Margie Runabout and three brothers, Houston Teehee, John Teehee, and Franklin Teehee. She is preceded in death by two children, Sina Tran and Donald Cochran. Donzella is survived by her sons, Archie Cochran of Jay, Isaac Cochran of Gentry, and daughter, Linda Budder of Eucha. She is survived by her brother, Dewitt Teehee of Tahlequah, sisters, Mary Sunday of Claremore and Sue Killion of Jay. Grandchildren are Quannah Davis from Tulsa, Greg Tran from Tulsa, Randy Tran from Jay, Matthew Budder from Eucha and Lisa Budder from Jay, and Corey Harjo from Tulsa. Great grandchildren are Michael Budder, Jasmine Cochran and Blayne Tran and Great Great grandchild, Amiya Budder. She leaves behind many other family members and friends and church family. Donzella was a member of Piney Baptist Church. She loved her church, gatherings with her family and friends, going to town and the Afton flea market. She enjoyed working in her garden, making traditional Cherokee baskets and caring for her all her animals. She liked watching WWF wrestling and doing her crossword puzzles. Donzella attended Eucha School and Chilocco Indian School. Donzella prayed over all the family birthday and holiday dinners. We were blessed to have her pray one more time for us at Thanksgiving. She prayed for all of her family and prayed we would all be together again. Donzella received the best Christmas present one could ask for, to be with the Lord in Heaven. Pall Bearers: Michael Budder, Joseph Tucker, Derrick Sixkiller, Gage Foreman, Feryl Teehee and Tad Teehee. Honorary pall bearers: Mike Teehee, Roger Teehee, Trevor Daugherty, Andy Smith. Visitation will be 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday December 21, 2011 at Worley Luginbuel Funeral Home in Jay. Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday December 22, 2011 at Piney Baptist Church. Officiating will be Rev. Stanley Grass and Rev. Junior Jones. Singing provided by the Nofire Family singers. Interment will follow at Round Springs Cemetery.
