Dora Bell

Dora Bell, 100 years old, died late Sunday evening, January 27, 2008 at the Craig General Hospital in Vinita. She was born November 24, 1907 in Yale, Oklahoma to Robert M. And Grace E. (Sams) Green. Dora was a 1926 graduate of Vinita High School. She was married to Herman F. Bell, who preceded her in death on January 14, 1969. They had the Deluxe Café in Vinita for many years. Dora was a member of the First Baptist Church in Vinita. She had been living in Tulsa for the past 17 years, moving from Vinita in 1990. The family includes: her son, John C. Smith and wife Margaret J. of Tulsa, one grandson, Kelly Smith and wife Cindy of Houston, Texas, two great-granddaughters, Haley Smith of Austin, Texas, and Erin Smith of Houston, Texas. Others preceding her in death include four brothers and three sisters. The graveside funeral will be held Friday, February 1, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Fairview Cemetery in Vinita, with Pastor Henry "Skip" McClain officiating.
