Doris Hathaway Doris Hathaway, 81, passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at the Osage Nursing Home in Nowata, OK. She was born on October 13, 1928 in Okmulgee, OK ,the daughter of Arthur and Mable Ann (Crummitt) Howell. She was raised in Okmulgee and graduated from high school. She was a homemaker and mother to her children. On July 25, 1945 she was united in marriage to Reverend Elmer Hathaway in Okmulgee, OK. He preceded her in death on December 13, 2009. Survivors include: daughters; Lindia Yorba, Okmulgee, OK, Shirley and husband Jerry Carr, Campbell, Tx, and Carol and husband Lester Robinson, Chelsea, OK. Four brothers, Ray and wife Maryetta Howell, Donald and wife Donna Howell, M.C. and wife Gloria Howell all of Okmulgee, OK , three sisters, June and husband Don Cole, Tulsa, OK, Margaret Gadbury, California, and Donna Debusk, Sand Springs, OK. Doris had 6 Grandchildren and numerous Great Grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, June 3, 2010 at the Benjamin Chapel in Nowata, OK. The family has chosen cremation.
