Doris Mooney

Doris D. Mooney, 72 formerly of Pensacola, died Monday November 17, 2008 in Skiatook. She was born September 8, 1936 in Magazine, Arkansas to Roy I. and Ollie (Harris) Davis. Doris married Everett W. Mooney on June 6, 1960 in Guthrie, Oklahoma. She was retired from the Turley Bank and a housewife. Doris was a member of the Pensacola Baptist Church, liked fishing for perch, playing bingo, going to garage sales, spending time with her grandchildren and looked forward to having her hair done every Friday. The family includes her grandsons, Everett Dean Mooney, Jr. of Sperry, Eric Nichols of Sperry, and Leon Nichols of Skiatook and a brother Gerald Davis and his wife Pat of Magazine, Arkansas. Preceding her in death were her parents, her husband Everett W. Mooney, a son Everett Dean Mooney, Sr., and a brother Jimmy Davis. Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 22, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the Luginbuel Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at the Ghormley Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Luginbuel Funeral Home of Vinita.
