Doris Petersen

Doris Jean Petersen, 76 year old, Grove, Oklahoma resident passed away Saturday, December 8, 2012. Doris was born on March 26, 1936 in Marshalltown, Iowa to Lyle Allen Sergeant and Grace (Lang) Sergeant. Doris enjoyed cooking and loved animals. Doris was preceded in death by her husband Alfred Petersen in 2008 Doris is survived by two brothers, William Sergeant and wife LaVeta, of Springdale, Arkansas, and Gerald Sergeant of Monkey Island, Oklahoma, and a sister Dorothy Kirk of Springdale, Arkansas. Doris is also survived by four nephews Curtis Sergeant of Dadeville, Alabama, Terry Sergeant of Abilene, Texas, Steve Sergeant of Grove, Oklahoma, and David Sergeant of Grove, Oklahoma. Funeral services for Doris will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday December 10, 2012 at the Worley-Luginbuel Funeral Home in Grove, Oklahoma. a private family interment will follow at Hickory Grove Cemetery.
