Benjamin Funeral Service - Nowata,Oklahoma ............................................. Dorles Lorene Jordan passed from this life November 6, 2015 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. She was born June 22, 1925 in Oglesby, Oklahoma to George and Sadie (Pearson) Huff. Dorles attended Oglesby schools and on August 28, 1941 she married the love of her life, Woodrow Oliver Jordan, in Nowata. They made their home in Nowata where they raised their three children. Dorles enjoyed the outdoors and fishing was one of her outdoor hobbies. She also enjoyed quilting, sewing, other crafts, and was an avid jigsaw puzzle worker. She loved listening to the old time gospel music but most of all loved being a wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She held a special place in her heart for her family and will be missed by all who knew her. Preceding Mrs. Jordan in death are her parents, George and Sadie Huff; her husband Woodrow; great granddaughters, Hailey and Hannah Benham; and siblings, Leonard and Kenneth Huff, Jessie Kennedy, Eva Jordan, and Ruby Ryan; and a daughter in law, Galene Jordan. Survivors of Mrs. Jordan are her three children, Ray Jordan and wife Sue of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Billy Jordan of Pearland, Texas, Carolyn Benham and husband John of Avoca, Arkansas; seven grandchildren, Todd Benham, Jerry Jordan, Jeff Jordan, Doug Jordan, Missy Caywood, Amy Magdenburg, Jennifer Gilbert; sisters, Josie Lucas of Ochelata, Oklahoma, Jewel Baker of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Louise Trammel of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, many other relatives and a host of friends. Graveside funeral services for Dorles Jordan will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, November 13, 2015 at Re-Located Cemetery, Nowata, Oklahoma.
